
OPEN CALL: New Contemporaries
dodomu gallery is thrilled to announce an open call New Contemporaries. The exhibition aims to showcase the cutting-edge works of emerging artists who are pushing the boundaries of contemporary art. The show will run from October 2 - November 20, 2025 on our website.
We are looking for a fresh perspective, daring creativity and innovative ideas. Celebrating diversity, experimentation, exploration of new mediums, styles and concepts in contemporary art. Contemporary representational and abstract work will be considered. Artists are invited to submit their work related to the exhibition theme in various media of drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, installations, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital and mixed media.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all international artists 18 years and older
All visual art media will be considered
HOW TO APPLY:
Please submit jpeg images of up to 5 artworks to: dodomugallery@gmail.com with subject line: OPEN CALL - New Contemporaries
Submitted artwork images must be labeled as follows: Firstname Lastname, “Name of the artwork”, medium, dimensions, year, price.jpeg and jpegs must be between 1500 and 3000 pixels in the longest dimension and at 300 or 72 dpi
Include a short artist statement, link to your website/Instagram in the email
ENTRY FEE:
$25 application fee for up to 5 images, $3 for each additional image. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. Applications without payment will not be considered.

Selected artworks will be displayed as an online exhibition and promoted on Instagram. Only original artworks are accepted and allowed, artworks can not be substituted once accepted. The gallery currently does not take a commission fee on sold works and all sales will be referred back to the artist. We encourage you to list artwork for sale but it is not a requirement.
